After struggling with infertility for four years, this patient finally came to NUWA Fertility Center in Taichung and successfully conceived through IVF.
Pregnancy After Two Failed IUI Attempts at Age 30
This 30-year-old patient had been struggling with infertility for four years. Despite undergoing multiple fertility evaluations, no clear cause of infertility was identified. In early 2023, she sought help at NUWA Fertility Center in Taichung.
She first underwent two cycles of intrauterine insemination (IUI), but both attempts were unsuccessful. After discussing further options, she decided to proceed with IVF treatment, which offers a higher success rate for patients with unexplained infertility.
IVF Treatment Outcome: Egg Retrieval, Blastocysts, and Successful Pregnancy
During the IVF cycle, a total of 19 eggs were retrieved. With the expertise of our embryology team, 10 high-quality blastocysts were successfully developed.
An embryo transfer was performed in October, leading to a successful pregnancy. The patient has now completed treatment and “graduated,” marking a joyful milestone in her fertility journey.
